Delete your account

You can delete your Family Pot account at any time, from the app or by writing to us.

In the app

  1. Open Family Pot and enter your PIN.
  2. On Home, tap your picture to open You.
  3. Tap Delete my account, and confirm.

If you cannot open the app

Write to info@mayafin.com with your name as it shows in Family Pot and your household's name.

We reply to confirm it is you before anything is deleted, and tell you when it is done.

We will never ask for your PIN or your recovery code. Nobody from Family Pot needs them.

What happens

Deleted

  • What you kept for yourself, on the phone and on our server
  • Your recovery bundle, so your recovery code stops working
  • Your phones' sign-ins and your place in the household
  • Your name, from our server

At once on our server, and from our backups within 14 days.

Kept

  • What you already added to the household's shared records, because the household relies on them
  • Your name as other members' phones already show it beside what you added

If you are the household's only member, the household is deleted too.
